Outlet Pressure and Flow Characteristics of a New Two-Dimensional Piston Pump with an Overlapped Distributor

This article presents the design of a two-dimensional (2D) piston pump flow-distribution port with an overlapped structure that reduces backflow in chamber and pressure ripples at outlet, thus minimizing vibration noise caused by high-frequency distribution process single pump. We describe flow operation principle 2D pump, create mathematical model using motion continuity equations piston, use Matlab program to compile solve them. The influence overlap on outlet rate was simulated. A prototype designed tested dynamic performance test bench. Our bench results show can reduce ripple which is consistent simulation results.
